So, it’s cold out here in Brooklyn. Pretty typical for winter in the Northeast. It’s been a pretty cool couple of days for me though. Last week, I released my 5th independent album, Creatures of th Heart. It actually made quite the impression on the singer/songwriter charts on itunes, reaching as high as the #22 spot! Pretty cool, for me at least. Thanks to all of those who went out to your computer and downloaded my record..can’t wait to bring it to the masses!
Speaking of wich, I am gearing up for my first tour in a long while. Many miles will be covered in a short amount of time. I’ll be making stops in Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Indianapolis (durring super bowl week!), Nashville and Atlanta. I look forward to the highway. There’s something magical about getting in a car and driving across the country to play music. It’s liberating to meet new people in new places, every day. I am sure some new songs will come out of it! I am playing with Matt Duke, a great songwriter out of Philly and Ingram Hill, a band from Memphis, that has quite the following.
I hope to see some familiar faces and meet some new ones along the way. If you can’t make it to any of the upcoming shows on the road, you can see me Wed. January 26th from the comfort of your own home..thanks to the good old internet! I’ll be playing at a house concert hosted by the fine folks at www.whereforearts.com ! I’ll be playing new songs from “Creatures of the Heart” and you don’t even have to leave your house to watch. Just visiit www.WhereforeArts.com/LIVE to watch the set live around 8:30! See ya there!
