West Coast Tour w/ Javier Colon! Winner of The VOICE

I am sitting here in my appartment in Brooklyn. It’s cold out, but my mind is somewhere far away. Probably because I will be making my way out west in a few weeks! I’ve booked a few dates in support of Javier Colon. He’s fresh off winning the grand prize of NBC’s The Voice. Unless you’ve been under a rock for the past year or so, I think most of America knows who this guy is, or at least the show :). I am very excited to share the stage with him for a few weeks! We’ll be stopping in Phoenix, San Diego, San Juan Capistrano, Malibu, Napa (wine time), San Francisco, Seattle and many more hot spots along the left side of the country. I’m not going to lie, I am pretty excited about the trip! More details to come!!

So, it’s cold out here in Brooklyn. Pretty typical for winter in the Northeast. It’s been a pretty cool couple of days for me though. Last week, I released my 5th independent album, Creatures of th Heart. It actually made quite the impression on the singer/songwriter charts on itunes, reaching as high as the #22 spot! Pretty cool, for me at least. Thanks to all of those who went out to your computer and downloaded my record..can’t wait to bring it to the masses!

Speaking of wich, I am gearing up for my first tour in a long while. Many miles will be covered in a short amount of time. I’ll be making stops in Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Indianapolis (durring super bowl week!), Nashville and Atlanta. I look forward to the highway. There’s something magical about getting in a car and driving across the country to play music. It’s liberating to meet new people in new places, every day. I am sure some new songs will come out of it! I am playing with Matt Duke, a great songwriter out of Philly and Ingram Hill, a band from Memphis, that has quite the following.

I hope to see some familiar faces and meet some new ones along the way. If you can’t make it to any of the upcoming shows on the road, you can see me Wed. I just received word that my new album “Creatures of the Heart” has been licensed for use in the upcoming seasons of “Keeping up with the Kardashians” on E!, “The Real World” on MTV, and the new Clint Eastwood reality series “Eastwood“, which debuts on E! in the spring of 2012!

My new album will be available on iTunes January 17th. It’s very exciting times. Good times are on the way!

As a fan of the seasons, I’ve come to appreciate each one seperately. The comfort of a summer breeze. The smell of the autumn air. The sounds of the holiday seasons have come to resonate the most in my mind. There’s something magical about this time of year. I hope that the holiday spirit has found everyone well. I hope this Christmas is a happy one for all. 2012 is right around the corner and I have a feeling it’s going to be a good one. Welcome to my new website! Thanks to Erin and Matt for all their hard work! My new album, Creatures of the Heart will be coming out in January. I’ve poured my heart and soul into this record. It tells a complete story of where I am and how far I have come as an artist. I can’t wait for you to hear it soon!
